By Matt Ewart

You live in a world that will stop at nothing to tell you who you are.

The world says you are your worst mistakes. Or your greatest achievements. You are what people see on social. Or how much money you have in the bank. You are how you perform, how you fail, or how you’ve been hurt. And this leaves you feeling unsteady.

But who does God say you are?

Discovering the answer—and the unwavering strength it unleashes in your life—is what this book is all about.

Pastor Matt Ewart shows you that your identity doesn’t come from what you’ve done or what’s been done to you but from who Jesus is and what he’s done for you. And since Jesus is rock solid, so is your identity.

Jesus says you are

  • Redeemed, free from guilt and shame.
  • Called, empowered to live with purpose.
  • Held, secure forever in God’s love for you.

If you’re tired of letting the world dictate your identity, this book will help you discover who the Creator of the universe says you really are.

Identity in Christ

I have an understanding that our identity is defined by Christ so most of the ideas weren’t new to me. But God’s truth always offers more insight.

This book challenges you to look at your life and at God’s Word and then to explore how Christ invites and empowers you to be more like Him.

Jesus transforms us!
Jesus provides a solid, sure identity that isn’t tossed back-and-forth by circumstances and our own thoughts and feelings.

Thank you for your review, Carol!
