By Pastor Mike Novotny
Will God still love me after what I've done?
Do I really have to forgive everyone?
Is hell a real place, and did Jesus talk about it?
The answers to these questions are found in some of the Bible’s words that seem confusing and uncomfortable. Words like grace, forgiveness, and hell. What do they really mean? And how do they apply to our lives?
This book by Pastor Mike Novotny breaks down ten of the Bible’s most important—and most often misunderstood—words so you don’t miss out on what they reveal about the character of your loving and faithful God and his plan of salvation for you through Jesus.
As you see these words with fresh eyes from God’s perspective, you’ll discover the power they have to strengthen your faith and bless your life, and you won’t miss out on what God wants you to know! Discover that
• Forgiveness God’s way delivers you from anger.
• True understanding of grace sets you free from guilt.
• Because of God’s salvation, you’re never alone.
I was pleased this book gives God's definition AND the husband's responsibilities when clarifying "submission". Brides often want to omit that word from their vows, but in it's proper use it is a beautiful gift.....Husbands treat your wives as Christ treats his church. What a responsibility! What love! Wives, build your husbands up so they can be more Christ-like.
There are so many words addressed that many think they understand, but this points to God's definitions and shows the love God has for his children.
Thank you for your review!
We are using this in a small group women’s Bible study. We have just done the first two words, forgiveness and submission. Both subjects created a lot of good discussion. These are two subjects that are very challenging for many women. This is the first time we have used a book like this where we read it together and then discuss. So far so good! I actually ordered 10 of your books to review and we look forward to using more of them in the future. God bless your ministry.
